For years, security has ranked as the number one IT issue in many surveys. However, this year there are indications, that from a strategic viewpoint, the top position is being overtaken by enterprise-wide Business Intelligence. This is not a great surporise to those who have been close to e-Business, but nevertheless, it is a breakthrough of sorts - perhaps a mature viewpoint that business strategy matters a lot.
