There have been several stories in the press lately of hackers breaking into home wireless networks and using them to download porn - effectively using the internet connection of the people who own the network. For the most part, these attacks are successful because when the wireless networks were set up, the built in security was not even installed. therefore the networks were totally unprotected. This is a new Blog to monitor E-Business developments. Every attempt will be made to preserve an integrity in the flow of materials, using only credible and useful references and corroborating evidence where necessary. It is hoped this Blog will be useful to anyone interested in the development of e-business. since the author is a Chartered Accountant, there will be some bias towards the issues in e-business related to financial reporting, accounting, assurance, security, privacy and the like. However, strategic issues will also be covered in the blog.
